ITINERARY
PICKUP & DROP: COCHIN AIRPORT
DAY 01: ARRIVAL AT COCHIN & PROCEED TO MUNNAR
Arrival at Cochin & then proceed to Munnar. This beautiful hill station was once the summer capital of the British Government in India. The never-ending vast expanse of tea plantations and round the year moderate climate makes it a little haven for visitors. On the way, visit the very famous Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Munnar.
DAY 02: MUNNAR SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, proceed to Echo point and Mattupetty Dam. Speed boating facilities are available here. The dam is flanked by forests and vast expanse of grass land on one side and the Kundala tea plantation on the other. In the afternoon, visit Rajamala - house of the highly endangered mountain goats - the Nilgiri Thars. Overnight stay at Munnar.
DAY 03: ALLEPPEY
In the morning, after breakfast, drive to Kumarakom or Alleppey. By noon, check into the hotel. In the afternoon, go for a motor boat ride (Cost not included) through the legendary backwaters of Kerala. On the way, you will witness a full range of lives and activities and some mind-boggling sceneries. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Kumarakom or Alleppey.
DAY 04: COCHIN
In the morning, after breakfast, proceed to Cochin. Check into the hotel. Then do a city tour covering Jewish Synagogue, Santa Cruz Basilica, Chinese Fishing nets, Dutch Palace, and Antique shops. Overnight stay at Cochin.
DAY 05: COCHIN
In the morning, after breakfast, visit Museum of Kerala history and Hills Palace. Spend the evening in Lulu mall for a bit of shopping. Overnight stay at Cochin.
DAY 06: DEPARTURE FROM COCHIN
In the morning, after breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Cochin International Airport for your onward journey.
